Fun on the 4th!
For the past 4 years we have been gathering at my aunt and uncle's house to celebrate Independence Day. It started 4 years ago as a send off party for my uncle who was being deployed. We then celebrated the next year when he was home for his break and we now continue to celebrate it because it has become a "Family Tradition." Cole always spends his time manning the grill and he always has some additional help-other men. The women are tending the kitchen and getting all the fixings just right and me and my cousin are tending to the children in the pool. We enjoy eating yummy ribs, chicken, briskett, and boston butt, lots of sides and homeade ice cream to top off the evening. This year we even enjoyed a watermelon. Fireworks are a must and memories are always made. I thank God for the brave people who serve our country and I am so glad to have some of those people in my family. God Bless America.
